Report on CMD 2010

The 3rd International Conference on Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics, CMD2010, was held on the Toyosu Campus of the Shibaura Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, starting on September 6, 2010, with 8 tutorials attended by 289 persons. Tutorials were available in English and Japanese and covered diagnostics applied to GIS, transformers, rotating machines, and cables. Distinguished lecturers from around the world included Dr. Greg Stone and Dr. John Densley, Canada; Dr. Fred Steennis, the Netherlands; Dr. Uwe Riechert, Switzerland; Dr. Michel Muhr, Austria; Dr. Alan Wilson, the UK; and Dr. Ken Kimura, Prof. Dr. Y. Ebinuma, Mr. Y. Shirasaka, Mr. K. Nakajima, and Mr. K. Suzuki, Japan.
