Report on ICSD 2010

The 10th International Conference on Solid Dielectrics (ICSD 2010) was held at the University of Potsdam in Germany, July 4??9. The ICSD is a triennial conference that has been held around Europe since its inauguration in Toulouse, France, in 1983 as the International Conference on Conduction and Breakdown in Solid Dielectrics. The following eight conferences took place in Erlangen, Germany (1986), Trondheim, Norway (1989), Sestri Levante, Italy (1992), Leicester, United Kingdom (1995), V??ster??s, Sweden (1998), Eindhoven, the Netherlands (2001), Toulouse, France (2004), and Winchester, United Kingdom (2007). Since the beginning of this century, the conferences have been held under the new name of International Conference on Solid Dielectrics (ICSD).
