Abstract :
This paper corrects the errors on a previous paper regarding the V-band on-chip dipole-based antenna. First, the relatively high antenna gain (3.6 dBi) and efficiency of our demonstrated antenna was misinterpreted with the radiation characteristics of the traditional Vee-dipole. The dielectric resonator (DR) antenna radiation is the proper explanation for the high gain and efficiency. Second, the antenna dimensions provided in the previous paper is incorrect and the correct dimensions are 2.4 mm 1.4 mm 0.5 mm.
