Abstract :
The analytical determination of the properties of a circular array of parallel nonstaggered elements in their dependence on the radius, length, and spacing of the individual elements as well as on their number requires a high degree of accuracy. Solving the coupled integral equations with the method of symmetrical components is reexamined with special attention given to the problem of coupling among closely spaced and more distant elements. The accuracy of the new general formula is verified for the four-element array and the single element
