  • Abstract
    Time-series methods are used to derive the characterising difference equations for a thyristor a.c. regulator when it is operating with single-term controllers. The regulator´s stability and limit-cycling conditions are defined from these equations, and its observed response to an output disturbance is compared with the form of response predicted by these conditions.
