  • Abstract
    The author presents a new closed-form approximation to the probability density function of the time-average power of a zero-mean bandlimited Gaussian process. Simulation results indicate that the new approximation is very close for small values of the bandwidth-integration duration product BT, and becomes increasingly accurate as BT increases
