Abstract :
In designing a logic system to control switching in an electricity-supply network, it is necessary to check the performance of the system under many different operating conditions. This paper describes a digital method of simulating logic systems for switching control and then gives a method of specifying system performance tests so that these tests can be applied automatically in the course of a simulation. A technique for determining the effects of failures of supply-network and logic-system components is also described.
