Abstract :
Coaxial-core erbium-doped fibre amplifiers (EDFAs) with self-regulating gain spectrum are presented. A cascade experiment demonstrates the effect of coaxial-core EDFAs on channel-power equalisation in fibre links with a small number of WDM channels
