Abstract :
According to announcements currently being distributed by the James F. Lincoln Arc Welding Foundation of Cleveland, Ohio, a total of 458 cash awards amounting to $200,000 will be made to the authors of winning papers in an arc-welding prize paper contest which opened January 1, 1940, and which is scheduled to run for two and a half years, until June 1, 1942.
