Abstract
In this paper, a digital structure is designed for use as the phase-splitting filter in the `A¿ channel-bank f.d.m. system. Subject to the theoretical considerations given, a digital approach is proposed for the realisation of a sequence asymmetric polyphase network for f.d.m.-system applications. It is shown that the multiplier coefficients of an appropriate realisation may be suitably designed such that a wideband approximation to the constant ¿/2 phase-difference response is produced. This structure is competitive with other already proposed structures after comparisons regarding multiplier complexities and roundoff noise performances are made.
