Abstract :
An expression is derived for the error probability of M-ary frequency shift keying with a limiter-discriminator-integrator detector and a narrowband receiver filter in the satellite mobile channel. This channel contains, as special cases, the Gaussian and Rayleigh (land mobile) channels. The error probability is computed as a function of various system parameters for M=2, 4, 8 symbols and a third-order Butterworth receiver filter
