Abstract :
CSR was founded in 1999 by nine colleagues from Cambridge Consultants to develop a singlechip Bluetooth chip that included radio transmitter, microprocessor and baseband on one standard CMOS die. At the time competitors were using two or three chips to accommodate the digital and RF circuitry needed for Bluetooth.
