Abstract :
Time flies! At the completion of my term as President of CASS, I am happy to report that our Society is in good shape and we are in good hands for the future as Prof. Gianluca Setti will assume the helm as President for 2010 with Prof. Mani Soma waiting in the wings as President-Elect for 2011. Moreover, the CASS Executive Committee and Board of Governors are populated by extraordinarily talented and dedicated volunteers from around the world. That is also true of the hundreds of volunteers who edit and review our journals and transactions, organize and run our conferences, deliver our distinguished lectures, organize and host our chapter activities, encourage new membership via GOLD events, etc. We´ve survived this difficult year but there is more to be done. Our collective New Year´s resolution is to continue to work as hard as we can to provide the highest possible value for you, our CASS Members. Towards that end, your feedback, guidance, and suggestions are always welcomed.
