Abstract :
It is an honor and a privilege for me to have an additional six years to work with the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Governing Board as the president-elect, president, and past president. I appreciate the support of the PES members during the recent election. I plan to use my experiences as PES treasurer and secretary to work with the entire Governing Board to keep moving PES forward. President Al Rotz has some great plans for 2010 and 2011, which were articulated in his January 2010 column in this magazine, and I look forward to supporting his initiatives, programs, and activities.
