The dielectric strength and life of impregnated-paper insulation — II — Influence of the thickness of the paper

Y.): I believe I am speaking for the subcommittee of the AIEE committee on research, which has followed Dr. Whitehead´s work very closely, when I say that we are particularly pleased by the care with which this work has been performed and by the demonstrated reproducibility of the results. The number of similar specimens tested has been sufficiently large and the deviations in the life results have been sufficiently small to leave no doubt in our minds as to the validity of the trends which Dr. Whitehead has plotted in his figure 1.
