Abstract
This paper caters to the land use and land cover monitoring with multitemporal and multipolarization radarsat data over an intensive agricultural area in France. The basic three objectives of this article are to evaluate the use of multitemporal sar data for land use and land cover classification in an area characterized by high spatiotemporal dynamics, evaluate the contribution of polarimetric information vs SAR data mono-polarisation and to evaluate “key data acquisition” for land use classification optimization in the study area.
