Abstract :
A field analysis of the performance and overall effectiveness of arc flash protective clothing and equipment in realworld arc flash incidents are the main topics dealt with in this article. An understanding of the applicability of existing American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards to protective clothing testing for these types of incidents is also discussed
