Simple QoE estimation model for low capacity VoIP phones

Proposed is a simple quality of experience (QoE) estimations model for VoIP applications in end devices such as IP phones. It is a model based on the accumulated burst metric, which corresponds to the fraction of the sum of the whole burst periods within all alternating gap/burst periods that have occurred since the beginning of the packet stream reception. Estimation errors caused when using only the accumulated burst metric as the input metric of the VoIP quality estimation model are explored.
