Abstract
Educational data mining is an application of data mining to derive meaningful patterns from educational systems which in turn can be used to improve the learning experience of students. The emphasis of this paper will be to explore educational data mining in the context of Learning Management Systems (LMS). In this paper, we explore the possibilities of using Experience API to extract patterns from Learning Management Systems. The possible inferences that can be derived from the patterns are also discussed in the paper. This paper has been developed using real time data that is gathered from the public Learning Management System, SCORM Cloud.
