Abstract :
Once again, for 2010–2011, the Antennas and Propagation Society will grant scholarships and fellowships to talented undergraduate and graduate students who submit proposals for high-quality projects in the area of electromagnetics. Last year, the Education Committee made several changes to the program to simplify the application process, to focus the scope of proposed projects more sharply in the area of antennas and propagation, and to clarify the expectations regarding recommendation letters. One result is that the number of applications per award cycle has increased dramatically. The review process has never been more selective. Consequently, the prestige associated with receiving an award is that much higher.
