Abstract :
In this paper, fuzzy implication operator, ply operator and their properties have been studied. On the basis of existing properties of Implication operator, some more properties have been extracted in order to enhance the use of Implication in the approximate reasoning. In some form of monotonicity, five ply operators and its various properties suggested by Zadeh have been explained. In the last part of the paper, increasing and decreasing behavior of the five Ply operators (obtained by Zadeh using possibility distribution) under ´Special Cases´ have also been proposed.
