Abstract :
Considering the User´s point of view, the mails, which are gone through by the user, are important, and other unread mails can be apparently considered to be of no importance. Therefore, such unread mails, which cross a particular threshold value, can be considered to be spam. And the person who sends such mails is called a spammer. In this paper we deal with the senders who send fake mails and try to spam the client´s mailbox in order to get some sort of information. The mail sent by the sender is matched with the user´s read mail history and if user is not interested in reading such kind of mails then it automatically goes to spam folder. If the number of mails sent by a particular sender which goes to spam folder crosses a particular threshold value then that consignor is a spammer and he/she is blocked to send further mails. Thus, this is proposed using part of speech tagging module of Natural Language Processing and some other discussed algorithms. This novel approach save user´s mailbox from spammers and avoid them from passing any important information.
