Abstract :
This letter introduces a novel class of linear precoders which explicitly add algebraic redundancy in the frequency domain. A procedure for designing robust precoders of the above form for transmission through unknown channels is derived. Such precoders guard against the adverse effects of narrowband interference and frequency selective fading channels. Their block nature also makes them suitable for quasi-stationary channels.
