Abstract :
This paper considers the problem of matching exactly the transfer-function matrix of a given system to that of a desired model using output feedback. Necessary and sufficient conditions are established for exact matching, the problem being reduced to that of solving a linear system of equations. These results cover the general case where the transfer-function matrices of the given system are nonsquare and involve inputs of different dimensions.
