The Avago Technologies AFBR- 79Q4xACyyZ is a four-channel, pluggable, parallel, fiber-optic QSFP+ active optical cable solution for QDR InfiniBand and proprietary applications. This active optical cable is a high performance integrated cable for shortrange, multi-lane data communication and interconnect applications. It integrates four data lanes in each direction with a 40 Gbps aggregate bandwidth. Each lane can operate at 10 Gbps with lengths ranging from 1 to 100 meters. The cables use multimode fiber operating at nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The electrical interface is a 38-contact edge-type connector.
