Radio communications: Components, systems, and networks [Guest editorial]

Welcome to the first issue of the series in 2010. We will continue to bring new developments and relevant articles on a quarterly basis ,and would like once again to encourage submissions in all topics related to radio communications. The quality and relevance of the series are directly tied to the submissions. On the editors¿ side, we resolve for 2010 to work to solicit relevant contributions and concurrently improve review time ¿ we have some backlog, and would like appeal to reviewers to help us be more responsive to the authors.
