  • Abstract
The Internet has become the most favorite environment for our students to connect with their peers. Many of them spent a significant amount of their daily time in “hanging out” with their friends in their preferred virtual platforms. This study aims at exploring the possibility of “stealing” the students´ social time for learning purposes. A constructive learning environment (CLE) is designed for learning activities in one of the most popular social networking sites, the Facebook, to encourage students to constructively develop their knowledge while staying in the social environment. The design of such CLE is based on the activity theory with the emphasis of the impact brought by computerized artifact.
