Abstract :
A micromagnetic model of longitudinal recording media has been used to investigate rotational magnetization effects. The model indicates that rotational magnetization processes are very sensitive to microstructure and that reversal can be achieved with rotating fields of magnitude significantly lower than the major loop coercivity
