Performance Appraisal of Learning Automata in Networks

In stochastic environment, uncertainties are of the higher order to predict the future events. Learning automata (LA) can be used in such a system where prior information is available. These automata are capable of performing better and better with their updating potential of input to the system with respect to the environment. Learning automata can be used in different networks for the proper management of the network performances. A survey for learning automata with networks as an environment has been reported in this paper. This paper presents a detailed investigation on the behavior of learning automata, various networks in which learning system can operates.
