Abstract :
Presented are new features of the boosted system, which is a BI-STCM-ID-like space-time diversity scheme, designed for 2 ?? 2 MIMO wireless channels. A simple method, involving power control of the signals transmitted by two antennas, is delivered to diminish bit error rate and match the system behaviour to varying SNR. Its usefulness is proven by analytic tools (EXIT chart, EF bound calculation), and simulation results.
