[President´s Message]

Biomedical engineering is a vibrant field. We have witnessed rapid developments in the field over the last two decades, and this trend will and should continue as we enter the second decade of this century. IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS), as a premier international society for biomedical engineering, has been playing a major role in developing and advancing the field and serving the profession. It is my privilege and honor to serve as president of our Society, and I look forward to working with all of you to make EMBS even better in the coming two years.
