Abstract :
In this work we present our system of speech synthesis from a text written in Standard Arabic TTS-SA, the use of speech synthesis systems in our daily life will facilitate many tasks like helping the visually impaired while navigating computers using a screen reader, thus we judged extremely important to explore this area in order to bring a more to research, especially when we are dealing with the Arabic language which still at the current time, not really used to realized large-scale systems intended for non-arabic people. Other benefits that can be taken under-consideration are the integration of Arabic on the Web and on embedded applications which can be used in our daily life such as mobile phones, voice guidance, etc. In this paper we explore two techniques of Transcription that exist, the first uses rules (we used here 12 rules) and the second uses lexicon (we used here 6 exceptions words), we also define two methods of voice synthesis (by phonemes and by diphones), and we explain at last the different results obtained.
