Abstract
In this paper, we discuss the possibilities to improve the magnetic properties of low %Si laminated electrical steels. The main goal is to show numerically that a low %Si grade combined with an introduced Si-gradient approaches quite well the beneficial properties of the massive high %Si grade. For this purpose, the Preisach theory combined with magnetic field computations was used
