Abstract :
A 1-GHz receiver, integrated in a 0.8-μm BiCMOS technology, consumes 1.2 mW at 2 V. Based on super-regeneration, it is dedicated to short-range data exchange up to 100 kbits/s. Sensitivity of -98 dBm is achieved for a selectivity of 100 kHz. The size of the chip is smaller than 1 mm2
