Abstract :
Presented is a novel downsampling technique for narrowband wireless communication systems. The presented technique employs digital notch filters for downsampling in a low IF receiver. The presented results are compared with conventional results. Although these are found to be almost the same, the presented technique has lower computational complexity than the conventional technique.
