Abstract :
A 950-2150 MHz zero IF (direct conversion) tuner for worldwide application and a simplified 950-1450 MHz version for the North American market are presented. A comparison to earlier digital satellite architecture, including adjacent channel filtering, matched filtering, and analog-to-digital conversion, is presented. An integrated circuit including many of the functions of a direct conversion tuner is detailed
