Abstract
A numerical analysis is conducted on steady magnetic fluid flow in a circular straight pipe under a nonuniform steady transverse magnetic field taking into account the nonuniform distribution of mass concentration of particles (DMC) in the pipe. The effect of DMC on the pressure becomes larger at the upper stream area of the nonuniform magnetic field. The effect of DMC on the flow velocity appears clearly in the magnetic field region as the larger index of the number of aggregated particles, appearing as a prorate spheroid
