  • Abstract
    In this paper, a data discretization disposal method based on the attribute priority algorithm is proposed to study the relations between weld appearances and process parameters, such as laser power, wire feed speed, welding speed and current. Some useful rules and knowledge are extracted to reflect the relation between the process parameters and weld appearances by the method of rough set theory. All these rules and knowledge can provide guidance for choosing welding process parameters.
