Abstract :
The far-field radiations from corner-cut waveguide with obstacle in the aperture have been investigated in the two principal planes. Besides the effect of the wire obstacle, the angular symmetrical cuts in the waveguide corners control the H-plane beamwidth without any substantial change in E-plane. Radiation pattern measurements are shown for a number of angular cuts, ¿, and a parameter K. The H-plane half power beam width is broadest for 40° < ¿ < 500° corner-cut and K equal to 0.5
