Analysis of nonlinear systems in the parameter plane
Abstract :
A method based on the describing-function principle for constructing limit-cycle contours in the parameter plane is developed. It is employed for studying the effect of regulator parameters on the limit-cycle oscillations of an alternator. The analytical results were verified by modelling the system on an analogue computer.
