Abstract :
The aim of the present study is to investigate the inhibition of alternating current at intermediate frequency (ACIF) on human breast cancer cells MCF-7 in vitro. Influencing effect was different parameters dependent (frequency, electric current, duration). Then the possible mechanism of ACIF inhibition on tumor cell proliferation in vitro was that ACIF could induce suppression of DNA synthesis in S phase, cell mitosis and cell apoptosis.
