  • Abstract
    The transducer and insertion losses for a piezoelectric transducer with a matched source impedance have been obtained from the analysis of an exact equivalent circuit. It has been shown that with a gradually matching reactive source impedance the loss frequency curve changes its shape appreciably and this can be made to suit some of its applications better.
