From My Perspective [Message from the President]

I am writing this column in mid-December 2009, just before the beginning of my term as a president. I start with my warmest wishes for a very happy and prosperous New Year followed by my plans to review the status and forthcoming challenges of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES).
