If you look at television and consider that it was invented by John logie Baird, it??s ironic that the content being transmitted is unlikely to inspire the next John logie Baird. This is a real shame. If you think about the amount of technology that goes into creating the programming, there??s a real opportunity to show young people some of the meta-stories there. `frozen Planet?? does this with the `freeze frame?? section at the end which shows viewers what??s involved in terms of the technology that goes into making the programme, even if it is a bit science-lite.
