  • Abstract
    Eight- and nine-segment numeric display for Thai was proposed previously by Surakampontorn et al. (see ibid., vol.35, no.4, p.840, 1989). A modification that uses only the commercially available 16-segment display is proposed. One advantage of the proposed display system is that standard off-the-shelf display components can be used without the need for the production of custom eight- or nine-segment displays
