Abstract :
A method to determine the step number of quantized voltage steps in a Josephson-junction array by using two sets of frequency and step numbers is studied and an uncertainty analysis is given. The method can correctly determine the step number even with an initial voltage measurement that is less accurate (one or two orders) than that required for the conventional method
