The principles and practice of panoramic display

The technique of the production of cathode ray oscilloscope displays in which one scale is a scale of frequency is reviewed from both practical and theoretical points of new. Particular attention is paid to the limitations inherent in this type of apparatus, and the formula defining these limits are derived from the basic principles. The practical design problems are dealt with in the light of experience gained in the course of a series of private experiments.
