Abstract :
In this letter, we present a new all-digital multichannel multimode transmitter architecture. The main novelty is the development of an agile radio transmitter where the digital up-conversion to RF operating in the gigahertz frequency range and the multichannel transmission capacity are embedded into a single field-programmable gate array device. Its high flexibility and fast switching of the carriers´ frequencies make this transmitter interesting for cognitive radio-based applications.
