Abstract :
Optical parametric chirped pulse amplifiers (OPCPAs) are widely recognized and rapidly developing devices for high-power femtosecond pulse generation. In this paper we reveal the main issues of OPCPA gain bandwidth extension for amplification of pulses with octave-spanning spectra.
