  • Abstract
    With standard IEC 61850 hierarchy improving and smart substation constructing, the network time synchronization systems have been used in smart substations even more. This paper analyzed the advantages and the shortages of the network time synchronization system, introduced the requirements, the technical characteristics and the networking methods in smart substation. To solve the potential security risks of production design and network architecture, this paper also provided a security evaluation method based on the emulation technical under network traffic that could ensure the safe and reliable operation of IEC61588 time synchronization system in smart substation. According this method, this paper also provided a case of security and evaluation to analyze IEC61588 time synchronization system.
